Our History
Tim Durrant
Like all great ideas, Landscapedesign.co.nz developed out of a simple need. Who supplies the landscaping products, services and ideas and where can I find them?
The idea really ‘sparked’ when Havelock North landscape designer Tim Durrant searched nationwide online for quality landscape products to install into his projects.
Search engines threw up thousands of results but going through them was time consuming and the results themselves were fragmented at best. And the traditional business directories were still in the Dark Ages when it came to finding good, detailed information quickly and easily.
Tim is passionate about landscape design and especially loves the challenge of designing out of pure contemporary function. “Beautiful spaces can have such an influence on a person’s wellbeing. They make you feel great!” says Tim. He believes that diversity in the landscape and our environment stimulates a freedom of expression. “It plays an important role in the health of a community.”
Tim and his team want Landscapedesign.co.nz to raise the standard of knowledge of the industry and provide an easy-to-use service where any business can have affordable, effective advertising with a sound return on their investment.
