Colour TV sets responsible for decline in home gardens?

It is very clear that landscaping, gardening, chooks and growing our own fruit and vegetables is having a huge renaissance in New Zealand. Why we ever stopped producing our own food is beyond me – perhaps it is the co called convenience of supermarkets, fast food or all those colour television sets Selwyn used to give away on “It’s in the bag.” – it’s worth celebrating that fact that more and more people are turning to their gardens for sustenance, relaxation and the good life!
